Victims of Crime (VOCA)

What is VOCA?

The VOCA program is a counseling program dealing with the psychological and emotional consequences suffered by victims of crime. Services are funded by the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement.

What services are provided?

Individual, Couple, and Family Counseling, Court Advocacy, Case Management,Personal Advocacy, and Crisis Counseling.

All services for VOCA clients are FREE.

Who qualifies for these services?

You must be a resident of Orleans Parish and a victim of a criminal act. Examples include persons who are or have been victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, robbery, sexual abuse, and survivors of homicide victims.
