Victims of Crime Program

With support from the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement, Family Service is able to provide services at no charge to clients who live in Orleans Parish and have been victims of crime. Whether it is past abuse or more recent victimization; survivors of crime are provided with a safe and confidential space to process symptoms of trauma. The Victims of Crime Program typically works with those who have been victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, physical assault and child abuse. Processing traumatic events helps relieve common stress reactions such as flashbacks, anxiety, and fear.
