General Counseling

The General Counseling Program at Family Service provides clinical counseling to address a variety of challenges that individuals, children, couples and families face. These challenges can include: depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, domestic violence, anger, communication, relationships, family dynamics, behavior, life transition, addiction, and many others. A trained clinician will meet with you in a safe and confidential space.

Cost per session is based on program eligibility and/or program eligibility and can range from $0-$80 per session. Family Service works with a variety of supports and is able to provide services at no cost to the client.

Family Service also accepts all Bayou Health Medicaid plans for eligible clients.

By calling Family Service, you can schedule an intake appointment. During this appointment, a clinician will meet with you to discuss your treatment goals and presenting problems.
