What's NewHere's a look at the news at Family Service of Greater New Orleans: Family Service Receives COA Accreditation (click here for press release) ------------------------------ Ten Outstanding Persons Gala Held on October 2, 2008 October 2, 2008 marked the date of the 35th Ten Outstanding Persons Gala. The Gala recognizes ten persons in the metropolitan area who have strengthened the community by their outstanding volunteer, charitable and civic contributions. The Gala and Patron Party, a black tie event, was held at the Audubon Tea Room on Thursday, October 2, 2008. The Patron Party begian at 6:30 pm with dinner served at 8:00 pm. Musical entertainment was be provided by the Last Straws and Mistress of Ceremonies was be Angela Hill, Reporter for WWL-TV.
