Housing First

Family Service of Greater New Orleans housing_first_2
and UNITY Homelessness Prevention Program

Family Service is assisting UNITY with case management and distribution of funds to prevent homelessness.

To be eligible, people must meet the following criteria:

  1. Homeless or at risk of homelessness
  2. Income < 50% of Area Median Income (AMI)
  3. Household demonstrates no other financial resources or support networks to maintain housing stability
  4. Household demonstrates no other adequate housing options
  5. Household lives in or intends to live in Orleans Parish

Referred clients are accepted at 2515 Canal Street location by appointment only.
