The Ten Most Outstanding Persons Gala sparkled

Annual 10 Outstanding Persons GalaPerfectly crisp autumn weather on Wednesday evening, Oct. 23 graced the Ten Most Outstanding Persons Gala at the Pavilion of the Two Sisters in City Park. Tiny white lights glittered throughout the Botanical Garden as patrons gathered on the terrace, congratulating this year’s honorees and toasting them with champagne. The event raised more than $100,000 to support counseling services to individuals and families throughout New Orleans.

John Royen Trio provided a jazzy musical backdrop while guests mingled and perused the selection of auction packages, including an antique prie-dieu donated by Board Chair Elizabeth Haecker Ryan; a “Hive” necklace by Mignon Faget; a two-night stay at The Blake Hotel, contributed by First Vice Board Chair Blake Jones, and a private sailing excursion captained by Gala Co-chair Michael Liebaert.
