For more than 112 years, our professionally trained staff have provided families throughout the metropolitan area with the skills they need to succeed. Family Service staff members are trained in many fields, including:
We are accessible, with five office locations throughout the greater New Orleans area. Hours are flexible, with evening and Saturday appointments.
We offer services to individuals and groups, as well as in schools and neighborhoods. Many of our clients come to us from referrals via service professionals in other organizations, and many call us directly.
Our sliding fee scale means that clients from every income level are able to benefit from our services. We're an affordable investment for the greater New Orleans community as well, since preventing family crisis is one of the wisest investments any community can make. Crime, unemployment and welfare can increase an individual's tax burden by hundreds of dollars each year.
The members of our board of directors play an active role in helping us continue to provide services to the residents of the greater New Orleans area.
